Microcontrollers with higher efficiency and more hardware supports have became available by means of the successively developing technology. The members of the automotive industry have created a standard interface for the handling of microcontrollers which are realized even more complex functionalities. This is called AUTOSAR. This idea facilitates the exchange of the products between various producers and developers and gives the opportunity to design several functionalities in a higher level.
Present document demonstrates the design and implementation of a CAN Driver module on a complex microcontroller which I have written above, on the AURIX TC26xx. The Driver supports CAN FD protocol and is written according to AUTOSAR standard. It must possesses the configuration layer and interface as it is defined in the standard. The thesis contains the design and implementation of the connection of this Driver layer to the middleware CAN communication layer which is used by Knorr-Bremse Fékrendszerek Kft.
As a windup of this thesis I would like to prove that the earlier written software components provide their safe and efficient work with exhibition and evaluation of the results of various sofware and hardware tests.
