The modern automobiles contain many sensors and with V2X communication there will be even more information available in the future. The goal of the thesis is to collect and systematize the data that can be obtained by a vehicle from either its own sensors or other vehicles and the infrastructure with V2X communication.
The first part of the thesis deals with the sensors and the in-vehicle communication networks. This part is about the physical details and the application of the sensors. It provides a comprehensive picture about the applications that are used nowadays, their requirements regarding to the in-vehicle communication networks and which communication network is suitable for particular applications.
Than the V2X communication is presented. In this part the focus is on the protocols that are defined in the European standards and the ADAS applications that can be realized.
Finally a web application is described that I designed and implemented. The first part presents the modules that are used by the application and the second part details the structure of the application and the key elements of the implementation.
