Metadata Based Functional Testing of Data Warehouses

The aim of the thesis is to provide simple, general and quickly customizable solution for controlling the datawarehouse loading that are destined to handle corporate data assets, with respect to specific claims, and with the help of descriptive information that are already available before effectively realized and also that specify the development accurately.

In order to understand the task, the necessary definitions, approaches and conventions are presented. In the first part of the thesis, several topics are introduced, such as the substantive information regarding datawarehouse, the applied complex procedures during realization, the wide scale of possible solutions and the test management’s tasks. The second part of the thesis deals with the subject how to specify and implementate the testing procedure that is suitable to the task publication and then to present it through sample data.
