In the process of creating custom web sites, it’s an often required task, to create a user interface, capable of displaying and modifiing business objects, for example master data. This task only contains programming challenge for one of the business object types, the implementation of the rest is repetitive, in contrast overall the task requires a lot of programming effort.
The goal of this thesis is to present the above task’s universal, framework style solution, enabling a greater part of programming resources, to implement given custom business logic. This is possible, using meta data, extracted from .NET Core Entity Framework’s DbContext.Model property, for example using ASP.NET Core Mvc technology. The previous two technologies are the foundation of the solution, presented in the thesis.
The presented framework isn’t an all-encompassing, complete product, but the thesis proves, that it’s possible to create such. The framework’s improved product version could provide a useful development tool, for the ASP.NET developer community.
