Analytical application development to enterprise asset manager module

I shortly give an overview about the enterprise asset manager software market, turning a bigger focus on SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) module’s status which is serving as a basis in business logics for the application. In the following chapter the software requirements are derived from required task description and system characteristics. Thereafter one can read about the concepts, structures, processes and document types of EAM module that were required for deeply understanding the business before the development. Since the task was to develop an end-to-end application which means data extraction from the database layer, through backend services and logics to the frontend and data visualization. Hence I give an introduction to the used technologies as SAP HANA platform, Core Data Services, SAP UI5, Fiori Launchpad technology and SAP Lumira. First I give a sight about schemes, models and roles in the specification then I introduce the application architecture and I give design details about analytical key performance indicators that will be visualized for the end user. At the third part of the document I lead the reader through the details of the implementation which demonstrates the usage of the referred technologies. I also write about the testing experience and the overall evaluation. In the end I give a view on the possible further developments before I summarize the whole thesis work.
