This technology could be a great help in agriculture too, row guidance devices are based on GPS in arable crop production. Row guidance devices are navigations equipments, which graphically display the right track that tractor must be passed on to cover the land the most ideal way. Allows you to keep correct row distance according to your machine working width, cultivate your land more cost effectively to spread crop production reagents (chemicals and fertilizers) without overlapping and omissions, survey your land, monitor the cultivated area and tractor’s current speed store the coordinates of the cultivated area to continue the work later and last but not least it reduces working time and fuel consumptions.
The thesis presenet the design and development of a row guidance application which use the GPS module of Android-based smart phones.
