Development of a patient register software

The fast development of computing was not followed by doctors’ patient registration systems and solutions. In Hungary, many doctors still write the patient’s data on paper in their private practices. This solution is hard to see through and is circumstantial to handle, it also takes away a lot from the examinations’ time.

With my thesis, I would like to help and provide a fast patient registration system with an intuitive UI for doctors, which provides all the necessary features expected from such a program. Besides all these, it provides easy handling and fast data entry for the user.

While designing it I was trying to serve real needs and to find solutions for real problems. Thereby I managed to make an application that completes all of the set goals and stands its place in real life too. It is suitable for doctors, who would like to document their patients’ data in their private practices.

In my thesis I go along the steps of designing the program, during which I write about the background of some of my decisions as the designer. Furthermore, I present the build up and the UI of the completed program. During these I introduce the functioning of the application and the technology behind it.
