The thesis introduces the wireless Bluetooth technology, the Lego Mindstorms NXT robots and several developer environments which are suitable for NXT development.
My main goal with the Thesis was getting to know the Bluetooth technology, mostly because of its extraordinary prevalence and its outstanding portability. Lego NXT was an ideal choice for testing the technology, because many kinds of robot can be created based on this set and it is suitable for using Bluetooth in many ways.
Further on I dealt with the Bluetooth communication of NXT and the connection with the computer. I wrote about how I had begun the development, what problems had occurred and which programs had been useful in testing the properties and possibilities of the connection.
During my work, I got to know the properties of Bluetooth communication on a deeper level, the NXT robots and several development environments. My Thesis discusses them in details. Measurement results were analyzed and represented graphically.
