Nowadays more and more vehicles are on the road, and it increases the chances of accidents as well. For the prevention it is an essential requirement that the brakes of the vehicle operate perfectly. Various tools help to analyze it's condition. During the technical examination of the brake system examines not only the braking force difference (If the deceleration),but also how much pedal force is necessary for the success braking effect. Within the framework of my BSC professional dissertation my goal is to engineer a universal prototype of a device, that is able to measure the pedal force. The measured data is transmitted to other devices in Newton format and trough a CAN BUS, such as to some decelerometers. Thus, we can get a more complex picture of the status of our brake systems. Before engineering the device, I set up a trial panel to make measurements in order to fix all types of errors that occur while testing, and to come up with a perfectly functioning final device. My opinion is that the device will be compatible with all pedal force measuring sensors of the Hungarian garage industry.
