The developement and effectiveness of virtualization technologies makes possible
to acces infrastructure as a remote service. The administration and
maintenance of computers used for educational purposes is a difficult task in
the unviersity. In some cases establishing the proper network
environment is not even possible. Students doing their thesis, project
laboratory researches or preparation for scientific conferences have special needs
that need to be satisfied. Due to these circumstances centralized management would be subservient.
The goal of this paper is to develop a cloud environment based on a previous
thesis so as the new system can be used as an experimental
educational tool. I had to compare the capabilities of the actual system with the requirements of the improved system.
Due to this thesis I modified the network infrastructure, to saitsfy all expectations. The new design will grant dynamic scalability and remote connections to the virtual machines.
