Nowadays the increasing energy prices and the environmentally conscious energy use (C02 emission reduction) has made the use of renewable energy sources (solar, wind, water, etc.) more important. The use of the solar panels and the mini wind power system has spread for family houses. The generated energy of these systems are independent from the needed energy amount. The major part of the generated energy would be required during peak cycle. One possible solution for this problem is an energy storage solution that helps maintain the stability of the system.
The use of a building automation system enhance the comfort and energy efficiency in this type of small family houses. The KNX building automation system is suitable for monitoring and managing the supply of the house electricity, which can save you up to 20% electrical power.
In my thesis I would like to offer insight for these areas or rather into the phases of developing the solar system of a family house.
