In the area of home network design more and more projects are developed every year. These systems are built to make our lives easier and more comfortable. I aimed for building a versatile and complex device which substitutes various components by integrating different functions in one circuit. By developing and creating my embedded system I learned the techniques of hardware and software designing what this documentation revolves around.

In my thesis I tried to summarize and outline all the knowledge and experience I gained if it did not point beyond the subject of my topic. The finished documentation contains and represents the selecting process of each necessary module, describes how my designed embedded system works including the different variations of digital interface, giving an insight how the peripheries operate and the written software code functions.

In the implementation of this application I used several components including a 32 bit microcontroller, an audio DA converter, a graphical LCD display. These features and essential operations are also presented in my thesis.
