The thesis provides an insight into the tasks and steps that are necessary to follow during the design and control of a production line test station. First, I determined the basic operating parameters of the electronics from the customer requirements. I designed the test station based on the measurements and tests required by the parameters. I searched for multiple options for each part of the test station, then considering the relevant aspects I chose the appropriate ones. From the alternative programming languages, I chose LabVIEW, since with it the whole test station can be controlled using the ready-made modules and sub-elements provided by National Instruments. Then I created the controlling software for the main elements of the test station. After that I implemented an analogue measurement test and an active motor test using CAN communication. Lastly, I phrased future tasks, such as the continuous development of the EOL station and also creating all the test cases with the already done controls.
