Development of a management software for an electric motor test bench

In today’s world, the complex testing methods are taking huge cost and energy investment.

Usually the beginning of a test process is developing a test bench. In the durability tests, a high level of automatization is essential.

This thesis gives an introduction to a durability test bench monitoring system's functions and developing phases. First of all, I introduce my workplace then outline the needs and examine the solutions. I considere the opportunities that other firms provide. After that, a concept on how to build the system and an analysis are presented.

I introduce, within the framework of software documentation, the planning and implementation steps furthermore the test process and evaluation is also presented. After the implementation I summarize my work, compare it with other similar systems and give further developing opportunities.

The developed system, made in LabVIEW development environment, is applied on two test benches. It helps the engineers and saves the test engineer costs.
