Similarly to other sports, there is a need for creating documentation of the games and statistics of the players and teams. In order to satisfy these needs, I have prepared an online application, which is suited for the registration of games and a database of players and teams online. At the same time, the website functions as an informational portal, which enables anyone to browse past or current events as well as statistics.

The portal is created using the technology of ASP.NET MVC 3, Entity Framework for making data processing easier and jQuery for making it more user-friendly.

In the first part of my thesis, I provide an overview of the mentioned technologies. In the latter part I specify the requirements of such applications.

The main focus of the thesis is the process of creating the software, highlighting the solution of a couple of interesting problems. In the Planning section, I include a discussion of the scheme of the database. Then I present the modifications on the class model created, which is by using the Entity Framework. In the end, I provide an overview of the visual layout of the website.

After the Planning section, I introduce the process of implementation and the working mechanism of a few important functions, keeping in mind the security and performance issues.

Last but not least, I provide an overview about the performance and the optimization of the software, about the testing of the application, and I make suggestions for improvement.
