Traffic generator for IoT systems with NB-IoT network access

One of the major tasks of current and short-term mobile telecommunications network technologies is that smart devices can exchange data without human intervention. Its purpose is to easily access data with any user equipment, making it easier for them to live. Communication between devices is growing ever more and in this idea there is a risk that the network will be heavily burdened due to data transfer between machines.

NB-IoT and CAT-M1 technology have been created to overcome this problem. One of the main goals of this technologies is to allow sharing information among the devices and with the rest of the world with as little overhead as possible. These technologies transmit little data that is sent on schedule, ranging from one minute to one month. However, these technologies need to be tested. A traffic generator can be the perfect choice for the mass testing. A finished traffic generator is a great help for testing engineers, as they do not have to do the tests manually, but automated by performing a program they manage. When testing an NB-IoT access device, the use of a traffic generator can be a good choice because it can simulate scheduling, among other functions.
