Nowadays there is a really enormous interest in 3D printers. The cost reduction of technology makes it easier to be accessed. Even the printers are now affordable, it is still a problem to use them as regular users. Most of the future users will probably not know how it really works. In my opinion this is the reason why individuals have not started to use this kind of technical equipment yet.
In this dissertation my goal was to create a new, reliable solution to make an opportunity for the home users to utilize three dimensional printing. Most of my aspects are based on continuous development which is a method of lean management, so the final architecture was changed several times.
The future user would like to have an easy to use and compact solution. To reach the most used platforms, I have chosen the WEB driven possibilities. Also the hardware components have been selected for this special purpose.
In my opinion the best solution for this problem is small portable device which can handle the user inputs as well as the printer. So the finished system will fulfill these needs: lightweight, cheap, easy to modify and maintain.
