It is hard for today's large IT companies to keep up with the technological advancement. With new opportunities we can quicken up and facilitate the configuration and operation of large complex infrastructures. Microsoft is at the forefront of developing new supporting technologies for large companies. As expected it is important to develop new technologies to facilitate working in business environment. The automation framework and scripting language PowerShell is gathering pace and get more and more libraries to provide better configuration and operation opportunities.

In business computer networks a top priority is to provide opportunity for enterprises to cooperate with each other. In today's Information Technology it is indispensable to support working remotely. Beside providing remote working opportunity for external clients, large companies have significant interests in cooperation as well. Microsoft technologies provide solutions for both problems. Using these solutions we can meet the conditions not just to allow the companies to work on the same files, but to create secure trust relationships between them using certificates.

The first half of my thesis describes the Bring your own device (BYOD) conception and discusses the challenges and conditions of the model. BYOD supports enterprises that let employees to use their own devices for work. To use this conception a top priority is to provide appropriate security solutions. Besides that I present a test infrastructure with two virtual companies with federation and rights management configurations.
