Desing and implementation of web based real estate database software for multi network environment

The number of people who use the internet is rapidly increasing all over the world. Nowadays people can browse the World Wide Web using not only their personal computers, but also their smartphones, laptops, tablets and other mobile devices. Meanwhile the user requirements also transformed and beside the conventional services new ones appeared. These new services turned out to be predestinated for great success. One of them was the e-commerce. It is completely ordinary these days if someone orders a book, theatre tickets or dinner using the internet, but e-commerce is not only considered in this sense. We can list plenty of web applications even in Hungary, which is dedicated to support real estate trade. Nevertheless most of them focuses on the potential customers, and functions as an advertising tool.

This train of thought led me to the idea, that I should design and implement a web-based application, which helps the work of the people on the other side of the real estate trade. An application, that provides up to date information for the sales agents and for the head of offices as well, anytime and anywhere they want it. An application, which makes the everyday work easier, even for networks with hundreds of offices. An application, that adds some extra value to the whole sales flow and also advantageous for everyone, who takes part in the process. Good for the sellers and customers, because they can get up to date statistics and information, for the sales agents, because it speeds up the daily work and for the managers of the offices as well, because they can get a global picture of the performance of the offices.

So first of all, I will assess the needs of the real estate trade, then I will describe the steps of the design process of the software in details, then I will present the phases of the implementation and finally I will evaluate the results and give suggestions for improvement.
