Real estate management solution with Android support

The aim of this thesis is to describe the process of designing and implementing a Real-Estate Management System with an Android Client Interface, and present the technologies used for that, in the first chapter of the thesis we describe the problem to be solved and the Software Architectural choice of the solution.

In chapter two an introduction to RESTful architecture principles and how they were used for designing and implementing the server side of the solution it is presented with examples from the solution and how and why it was used and how we designed the interface between the server and the client side depending on the RESTful with JAX-RS provided APIs, we also describe the JPA (Java Persistence API) and it’s usage in the system and why we chose to use JPA and the test example of the services using Google Advanced REST client.

Chapter three will include the a description of the client side platform and why it was chosen, The design and implementation of the client side application with snapshots from the code and the running application and test examples of the inputs and outputs of the application.

Chapter for will contain future possible enhancements and expansion of the system to give a wider range of services and the possibility of using other client platforms.
