Nowadays, the internet plays an important role both at work and in our homes. The scope of web pages visited all day are constantly widening, and as a result of this, to find and visit these pages one by one takes valuable time away from our lives.
To solve this problem, I made a system in the thesis, which can process the substance of web pages and display them. The user can select categories or source pages to obtain all the information which meets his/her interests, in one place. The system supports the registration/login feature, so the authenticated user can save his/her favorite pages.
One consequence of the spread of social networks is that it’s integration with a website provides a number of benefits both for the website creator and for the user too. In order to exploit these opportunities, I made the system support the functionality to share content on Facebook, and to accept logins with Facebook accounts.
After the creation of the system I tested it’s functionality and stability to assure the correct functioning and proper loadability.
At the end of the thesis, I summarized the already implemented, but not required changes, as well as the possibility of further improvements for better loadbility and user experience.
