Intelligent design of microcontroller clock

In my thesis, I present the development of an intelligent clock system, which has two or more units. The device can update the exact time after it received it on radio. It is also able to display various messages, and the user can configure the alarms how often they repeat (once a year, once a month, once a week, once a day, or on specified weekdays). The clock not only can alarm by an audible signal, but it can switch any external device on or off at the preselected time. The unit can be connected to a personal computer.

In the first part of this thesis, I’ll converse about intelligent houses, the selection of the hardware elements, the composition of the schematics, then I present the design of the printed circuit boards, and I present the completed units. The second part is about the software of the units. I introduce the low level software components, the radio communication, the connection with the personal computer and the menu of the central unit. In the end of the thesis I present the development of the software of the personal computer.
