The basic idea of a smart watering system includes the planning and implementation of software and hardware architecture. I searched for the necessary sensors for the accomplishment of the project and later created the governing codes of the hardware as well.
I present the properties of the hardware I have selected and their position in the system. I detail how each of the sensors in the system is directed and how the measurement values are handed over to the user.
In addition, I present the most important elements and advantages of the backend and graphical user interface that I have prepared. I will compare the new technologies I got acquainted with other technologies and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the technology used.
I detail in the thesis the deployment process of the whole system, and I present the details of creating a secure communication channel, which is provided by a third party service running on the Raspberry Pi.
Finally, I will detail any future developments that may arise during implementation.
