Development of Industrial Goods-Tracking System

The aim of this present work is to design and build an automated conveyor controller system for a multinational industry. Before the discussion about the system, I included a chapter about the function of product tracking, the requirements and standards of the system inside industrial environment.

The first part of the project was to give suggestions for the modification of the previous business process, highly focused to the business logic, and the anterior tracking procedure. It was a requirement that the new system must be compatible with the old one.

The part of my job was to build different modules from several productors into an effective and solid system. In addtion I had to take care of the printer's installation, operaration, and communication with a PC and a PLC. The main task was to create an application, that can receive and process data from the scanner, and be able to communicate with a PLC. The last feature was the integration of the printing process into the company's closed business management system.

Besides that my job was to write an user-friendly database managing software. The program also has a diagnostic and maintenance functions.
