Online advertisements became a part of our everyday life. We can’t scroll through a web page or watch a video without looking at promotions. It’s not a wonder considering we spend most of our time in front of the screen, so it’s a pretty valuable area. In fact advertising online is much cheaper and easier compared to putting up a billboard. So our devices and browers are just perfect to product popularization. Over and above, the online advertisements are good for the web pages, because they get the money coming from the adds.

The advertiser gets a lot of views, the owner of the page gets some money and the user is just sitting watching advertisements out of his will. What the user can do is being positive about the adds because this is the way, he can support the page. Some sites even askthe visitors to click on someadvertisements. After all we can say that somehow we can pay by watching advertisements. If it’s true we can donate the same way.

Using "Be Positive!" the user provides some costume advertisement area in the browser. The motivation is that all the incomes from the adds goes to charity organisations. With the help of this app we can give money without giving any away.

My aim was to find solutions to implement my idea. To demonstrate the resultsI developed a Google Chrome extension. During the development the main purpose was to find the most possibilities to advertise in a browser so the user can choose the best for himself.

For the development I used popular web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
