The expansion of the videogame industry we are experiencing today has become so widespread that even smaller scale games are able to easily find their niche in the market. These games often are built around one small central idea and the game explores and develops that idea from multiple angles.

The development of a puzzle game is in and of itself an interesting problem requiring a lot of planning; creating systems with which we can pose challenges towards the players, challenges that fascinate and engage the player.

The Képgyár(ImageFactory) is a new logic puzzle game that is about programming a factory. The factory moves around the titular pixels using mechanisms similar to conveyor belts, and arranges them into images while avoiding colliding the pixels with each other or the edge of the game space.

This paper presents the development of the Képgyár, highlighting its key steps, its flow and also looking at some important game development techniques. Finally it sums up the experiences gained during the development cycle and judges the finished game.
