Management of client IT devices in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 environment

In my thesis I will present the management and inventory of devices used by employee in a company. This system was developed in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and PowerApps.

In the first part of my thesis, the used systems and environments will be introduced.

I will begin with the description of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 system. I will show the opportunities, features, and structural design of the system and I will present as well the high level performance of the inventory system related to modules.

Apart from AX, the PowerApps application is also mentioned, with a focus on the development approach and integration with the AX system.

After the presentation of the used systems I will introduce the device management module I have created for the systems.

I demonstrate the properties of the screen for displaying devices and the realization of the development. In some cases, I will look at the advantages of the method used against other solutions. Similarly I present a detailed view of the devices, and I will look separately the relations between devices.

I present the device management operations, handover, taking, and disposing, and the operation of the objects that perform these operations. My thesis describes the synchronization of client-side IT tools with the material tool page. It will be mentioned the possible forms of linking between the two pages and the course of reporting the possible mistakes by email. I will guide you through the realization of the data uploaded by presenting the job done. I present the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Authorization Management Procedures and the module implementation process.

I ended the task with the implementation of the required tasks with the PowerApps application. Here I will focus on the design of the web page, on functions and the ability to accept the device publishing.

I will close my thesis with the process and results of the development, and I will show some possibilities for development and their relevance.
