The design of electric networks is important part of power engineering. Quality and reliability of the designed and built networks are the basis of the quality of electric power services and of the high-level service of customers’ demand.
In my thesis I have reviewed every step of network design generally. I have listed the most important standards, type plans, measures, the most used transformer station types, their technical design, and I have made two possible technical solutions.
The design is shown through the work step by step. I have been working on a project during my summer training session at DÉMÁSZ Prímavill Ltd. Practically a transformer area in Kistelek must have been reconstructed. The steps are the following: measurement of the location, collaborating with the public utilities, plotting and drafting technical description for the designed network. This contains the measurement of the designed network, sizing the poles and the calculation of deflection.
In the last chapter of my paper, I have shown some special design projects.
Finally, it could be said that the primary goals were reached and the customers’ problems have been solved in that transformer area.
