There is wide variety of tools to maintain contact with our friends in today's information society. Various communication opportunities exist in many forms, ranging from phone call, e-mail and instant messaging systems, all the way into information sharing on social networks. Communications on different channels can be difficult to handle. As my diploma thesis I worked on a mobile call information system, which tries to enrich the traditional phone calls and make it more colourful. This system can collect information that is relevant in the context of the call and display on a desktop client simultaneously with the call. The system is integrated with private or business contact sources and social networks to create useful contents based on the collected data about the calling/called party.

In my thesis, I'm exploring the possible benefits and applications of a mobile call information system. The expository of the subject is followed by an overview of the system architecture. Then I specify the main steps and models of the server and client side development.
