These days we cannot imagine our everyday lives without the support of advanced IT systems, beside professional business solutions there is a growing demand of flexible and convenient electronic solutions for more casual problems. Instead of robust but complicated thick client technologies the focus is on easy to distribute mobile clients and always up to date web applications, which started to offer more and more advanced functionality, therefore these platforms are the most practical to target with a modern application.

Among the most popular applications we can find some, which somehow try to help out drivers. These apps usually provide traffic data from a certain authority or an active driver community, but none of these give us the option to send feedback or a complaint towards responsible authorities.

The purpose of this thesis is to design and implement a ticketing system for public roadways with features like listing valid or revoked traffic rules of an area or report a problem to the responsible authority. The system will include a web application written in ASP.NET MVC and a mobile client for Windows Store platform.

First of all I introduce some similar existing applications and the most important capabilities of the target platforms needed to develop my own. In chapter Designing I discuss the architecture of the new system, the major layers of the applications and some other design decisions. The development of the main components are presented in chapter Implementation, and finally I test and evaluate the finished system.
