Cryptocurrency payment functionality in KUKA robots

I have written my thesis based on the work I have done at KUKA robotics company. In the paper I demonstrate the distributed ledger technology and its applications. I am going to examine their use-cases in robotics applications, present obstacles and difficulties and future visions. My task was to implement one of the possibilities, the payment with cryptocurrencies to a robot. For that I compared different cryptocurrencies and payment APIs. The application is an OSGI framework component in Java language. I implemented a web service in the component. For that I had to learn how the robots work and their software architecture. Furthermore, I created a robot application and a webpage for testing and demonstration purposes.
