LibreOffice is an open source, cross-platform office suite, which is actively

developed nowadays as well.

In the following, I am going to introduce briefly the chapters of the thesis

work.

The Introductory chapter gives insight into the circumstances of the

development, and it lists the improvements I made on LibreOffice. It also

introduces some not completed requirements related to my work.

The Technical description chapter is responsible for presenting the used

development environment, and for explaining other technologies used during the

development. In particular, it describes the architecture of the software.

Before the actual coding there is a chapter about the preceding processes of the

development. In this chapter, I state the requirements for each problem and I

describe an estimation of the work to be done.

The Implementation chapter shows the interesting parts of the improvement by

going through related code snippets. I emphasize those parts, which contains the

essence of the change, or which I find interesting for some reason.

The chapter of Evaluation and Test shows us the methodology used to test the

improvements and gives a short description of the results.

The Summery chapter summarizes the important parts of the numbered chapters and

gives a short overview of the opportunities of further improvement.
