In today's developing world communication has a very important role in all fields of life, so that is why it is a significant question that how efficient can we do so.
The most efficient way of communication is the verbal contact, but it has a strong effect on time and money due to long travels for meeting personally. As the broadband internet got common worldwide, we have the opportunity to keep in touch with partners from all over the world via videoconferencing, which can be the new most efficient way of communication.
The need of talking to people from the other side of the globe is really widespread in business life, so the demand for different reliable and simple systems gets higher and higher, because it can connect co-workers in a cost-efficient way.
We already have the solution for the previously mentioned problem, but a well-created system contains more components so that is why it is much more complicated than what an average user can handle. So we still need the integration of those systems with an easy-to-use user interface.
In my thesis I designed an alternative system for the already existing ones which can be controlled from a touch panel. My new approach is based on the communicator software, included in the Microsoft Office package, designed for companies. The solution can be much cheaper than the traditional videoconferencing systems while keeping all benefits of for video based business communication.
