Development of an agriculture portal with ASP.NET technology

In Hungary, the agricultural industry is facing a significant technical backlog compared to world standards. Due to the disadvantage, small and medium-sized farms get access to the means of production at inappropriate prices and do not get a fair price for their crops. The flow of information and knowledge is also slow, so it is difficult to compete with the more knowledgeable competitors.

During my work, I participated in the development of an agricultural web portal aimed at solving the problem and to help catch up with the industry. After knowing the necessary technologies, I created portions of the portal. After describing the architecture I presented the design process and implementation of the functions I have created. he completed application offers the opportunity to purchase, trade and auction agrarian products. Farmers are provided with the latest news about their profession and have the opportunity to share knowledge by blog posts.

Thanks to the portal, Hungarian small and medium-sized farms have a tool that can help to catch up with international standards. Farmers can now be assured that their economic interests are met and their products sold at a fair price.
