Cloud integrated Smart Home platform development based on Microservice architecture

One of the trendiest design pattern of recent years is the microservices in the web application development. Famous services are built on it, such as Netflix and many other IT companies have already made their own implementation. The essence of the architecture is to split business logic into more independent components, which have many advantages. Development work will be paralleled and the whole system becomes more scalable.

The Internet of Things phrase is also one of the most common expression of today. By definition, the Internet of Things is a huge network of connected physical devices. With them, you can monitor or control distant devices.

The aim of degree is to get to know the microservices and MVC architecture, then develop a cloud based web application where I can use the collected information in practice. The task is to design an application where IoT devices can be configured and monitored in real time.

The degree starts with a theoretical introduction where I present the results of my research.
