Nowadays every corporation pays special attention to employee satisfaction, since the performance of the employees can contribute greatly to the success of the business. This performance can be improved by making the employees interested in the success of the business, and by properly motivating them. One of the prevalent ways of motivation is premium payments, but this requires the evaluation of the employees in some way. We would like to accomplish this evaluation in the most convenient and efficient way, so a web application can be an excellent solution.
This paper provides insight into the development of an employee evaluation system, giving a general overview of the whole system and detailing the development steps of the evaluation interface. In addition, the paper also provides a general overview of the chosen development technique, model driven development, also highlighting some of its benefits.
The system detailed here, although it was designed with unique needs in mind, could be used easily by other corporations to evaluate their employees.
