Nowadays, the number of companies developing mobile applications is growing. To reach most of mobile phone users they have to publish their applications to the main mobile platforms.

Developing native applications separately for these platforms – the most part of these applications are the same on these platforms, - is quite expensive. If we do not use any multiplatform solutions, we have to implement the same functions in different programming languages. This problem is solved by several multiplatform frameworks.

The goal of my thesis is to learn one of these technologies. The learning process is based on a real project, implementing those functions of this project which helps the Xamarin learning process the most. The developers of this project are working with PhoneGap, this fact gives the possibility to compare these technologies.

After I described the technology I am working with, I present most part of designing and implementing the application and compare it with the other multiplatform framework.
