Implementation of a high-precision remote managed watering control system

Thank's to the appearance and increase of mini computers' computational capacities, it's possible to create a high precision, low cost and automatic irrigation controller.

The current market doesn't offer the combination of these attributes in other devices than the high cost professional nutrigation controllers which are not feasible for low, middle sized farmers and households.

The purpose of this project is to create an irrigation controller which by utilizing the capabilities of mini computer makes the high precision, low cost, remote controlled device.

The controller device is built on the Raspbian Linux + GNU operating system with Java, PHP and JavaScript languages.

In this thesis I will go through the existing devices and possible solutions. After that I will design, implement and test a high-precision remote managed watering control system based on the Raspberry Pi mini computer.

I will also list the possibilities and plans on how to improve the created irrigation controller.
