Analysis of electic and magnetic fields in HV substations

Fort the residents of a modern country with a highly developed economy and advanced technological infrastructure the electrical energy became to an essential element, a lifeblood. The smooth co-operation of electrical equipment, appliances and wildlife should be ensured in the interaction of the electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements for full compliance.

In the first part of my thesis I briefly describe the basics of the case of the electric and magnetic field calculation line managers. Then I write about the sources of electromagnetic interference and review the specifications and limits for electric and magnetic field based on the literature and standards of living organisms, and in respect of the substation equipment.

In the following section I modeled the phase conductors and earthing grid of the Bicske South 400/120kV station with CDEGS software package. After modeling, the magnetic and electric field calculations performed under normal operating conditions, then I’m using 24 hours measurement data and in the event of fault occurring within the substation. Then I evaluated the results based on the relevant limits.
