Nowdays, smartphones and computers are inseparable parts of our world. That is why in education the applications that support it are becoming more important. In the university, they often write exams before the labs and exercises. It could be much simpler and more efficient with the involvement of a mobile application.

That is why my thesis aims to design and present a system that allows educators to submit pre-lab tests in a digital format by using the students’ mobile phone. In my thesis, I look at the advantages and disadvantages of modern web technologies and the cross-platform mobile software development on the growing mobile phones market.

In my thesis, a teacher’s web site has been succesfully developed, where teachers could create exercises, and improve the students tests. And I developed a mobile app for students that are capable of solving the exercise and they can view their results with it. Furthermore, I developed the backend service that is able to provide and storing data.
