Application of an optical sensor to an RC model vehicle for security systems demonstrating purposes

The goal of the Bachelor of Science thesis project is to build the hardware and software module of a system, which by incorporating a Bosch automotive optical sensor product is capable of self-driving a model vehicle. The vehicle has to be capable to independently follow a predefined constructed lane without departure which predefined lane meets the specifications of the Bosch sensor. The goal of the thesis is to demonstrate the importance and possibilities of driver- and accident prevention assisting security systems.

The connections between the Bosch automotive optical sensor and the modules of the model vehicle by incorporating a development board has to be constructed. For the design the hardware and software connections between the Bosch automotive optical sensor, the development board and the modules of the model vehicle has to be constructed.
