The thesis presents a position, orientation and speed measuring method, implemented with an USB Webcam. With this method it’s possible to dynamically carry out measurements – the camera used, can be located anywhere respect to the ring, which size’s also doesn’t matter only it’s shape, which sould be rectangle.
In the second chapter, the paper discusses the applications and some solutions of the image processing, specifically mentioning the role of markers, and presenting some of them. The reader can learn about the digital camera’s imaging, the errors of the imaging and I present methods, which eliminates them as well (third chapter). The theoretical background of the measurement and the established model is detailed separately, and then I confirm the pertinence of the model and the position-, orientation-, speed calculating algorithm by compiling a specific measurement (testing of the program: sixth chapter). In the seventh chapter I discuss the source of errors of the measurement and give an estimate of measurement error, finally I summerize the achievements, and mention some options of the further development.
