The proportion of humanity doing office work is increasing. Initially office work involved active movement. In our digital life, 90% of the current tasks can be handled from behind the desk. The reason is the integration of computers and the internet in our everyday life. This reduced our daily motion radically which has a pretty bad effect on our health status. The internal organisms, our skeletal structure was adapted to much more movements during evolution. This is why many passive office work along the spine and back pain also involves circulatory problems as well.

The first world already realized the importance of this and it became a big trend to decrease the effects by utilizing ergonomics. This is why recently active chairs are on market. These chairs provide solution to the problems stated.

The goal of the final project is to analyze the market, compare all the different products. Using this data I can conclude what is the main role of such chair, how these are managing the problem, what are the pros and cons. I create an individual, better conception on my own, which has implemented all the pros and eliminated all the cons.

The final project shows the whole process of my individual work and design.
