In my thesis I investigate the possibility of useing 433 MHz ISM-band transmission instead of the crowded 2.4 GHz frequency band. To do this, I consider the characteristics of the antenna parameters, which factors affecting the wave propagation, the modulation methods, and the radio propagation models. I present two operations in the 433 MHz ISM band transceiver module.

I develop test cases and test environment, which carries out the measurements and demonstrates the limitations of the 433 MHz band systems. I examine the various available options beside range. I write a program, which is able to calculate the appropriate parameters given to the registers and generates the configuration files into a more efficient measurement. And an application too, which processing the raw results.

Since the ISM band is shared with all users in a way, I will examine an important parameter, the receiver selectivity, so during the transmission of broadcasting, I will disturbing it with interfering transmission.
