The leading communication platform of the 21st century is undeniably the web. The internet provides both businesses and individuals with a huge variety of tools which helps them to make and to maintain contact. Running a profitable business nowadays is nearly unimaginable without having an online portfolio page which helps the company to cope with its competitors who target the same customer base.

The rising demand for website building services is confirmed by the drastically increasing number of websites: Since the turn of the century, the number of websites available on the internet has increased tenfold, showing an obviously rising trend.[1] Numerous software has been built to satisfy this demand, which allows creating stunning websites even for people who have no experience in web development.

In my thesis, I am going to present the creation of the website editor module of the website building platform called Brixify. I am going to detail the requirements, the technologies I used, the process of design and implementation and possible further improvements. My goal was to create a software that makes it possible to tailor highly customizable, responsive websites which follow the latest design trends, even without any programming knowledge.

My work within the past year resulted in a website building module that is capable of creating modern websites working even fully independently, or as an integrated part of the Brixify platform. To present my work, I created a web application which includes a running instance of the website editor and provides you with the possibility of checking out the websites you built using the website builder.
