Nowadays, the increasing number of mobile devices, as well as the varying screen resolutions demand serious changes in web technologies. Responsive Web Design (RWD) has stared to gain more and more attention because it responds adaptively to different display sizes, therefore the same content can appear on various devices regardless of screen size or resolution.

Another widely used modern web technology is the Single-Page Application (SPA) technique, which is based on HTML5 and is an essential tool when building responsive web applications.

The combination of these methods and the responsive design principles results in an ideal user experience, which is extremely important when developing a web application.

Using these two modern web technologies, I developed two administrative web applications which are currently used in a production environment. In my thesis I present the process of the development and describe automated end-to-end tests which will demonstrate the correct operation of the functionalities. After that, based on my measurement results I evaluate them in terms of performance, which is a determining element from the user experience point of view.
