Data acqusition for internal-combustion engines

The topic of my thesis was to design and implement a device to collect measurement data about combustion engine machines. The topic of the thesis is the sequel of my independent laboratory which was a proposal theme from PCB Design Kft. The company's profile is designing electrical circuits, develoop softwares and web applications.

At the end of the independent laboratory I finished the probe circuit, I had the block diagramm of the eventual circuit, I choosed the main component types and the code that was able to meause the frequency of the incoming signal on a pin of the microcontroller and to send it through Bluetooth. For the end of the semester I finished the eventual electrical circuit, the components were soldered to the printed circuit board, the main program was develooped and it was succesfully loaded to the designed board. The device is able to measure the frequency, to save these datas into a memory, to recall the saved datas and to send them through Bluetooth, although it is just an application that simulates a terminal window which really slows down the data speed rate and it is not easy-to-read. The final solution would be a develoopment of a totally new user application, but I did not have the time for that, and I have never been develooping any programs for Android operation system. This theme could make a new thesis, too.
