The hole of the bones is created by the osteoclast and osteoblast cells. The last one is responsible for the reproduction of the bone's material, while the osteoclasts are responsible for the erosion of the old bone cells. If the activity of these to is in balance, that results in a healthy bone development, while if the osteoclast cells exceeds the osteoblasts, it can casue osteoporosis.
The Semmelweis university made it possible for us to exemine these cells by colouring them, so we can track their movement and their activity. My work aims to process these data by computer vision utilities, precisely by the Open CV program module's utilities under a C# program language. I will follow their movenets and try to track their fusion. I will use the tracking API of the Open CV module, that enables a simple object tracking, custom decesion making algorithm to decide which cells are identical, when it is not obvious and probably I will need some classifier algorithms that will help the decision making.
