Evaluation of Smart Metering Pilot Data

The smart metering offers real time information for the consumer’s energy consumption. It’s a new measuring technology which ensures the continuous energy metering, measuring tools are able to store measured datas in quarter-hour intervals, remote available, thereby the datas are avaliable for both the consumers and the energy providers.. With the introduction of smart metering, we can avoid the indebtedness of consumers and unauthorized use become filterable. A number of countries are at the forefront in the smart metering technology with country coverage (Italy, Sweden), some countries has made the choice to install smart metering with full country coverage (Spain, Norway). In Hungary in accordance with national legislation, the distributors have started a national coverage pilot project to research the behaviour of the consumers and technical solutions. The objective of the thesis is the investigation of the consumer’s particularities. In my thesis I examine separately the datas by type of settlement, number of household members and consumption sites of household members as economic activists, with an emphasis on the differences of the daily load curves. For the analysis the ELMŰ provided datas of 600 random consumption sites for the full year of 2014.
