A tabletop role-playing game is a form of role-playing game (RPG) in which the participants describe their characters’ actions through speech in a set of rules and a fictional setting in which players can act out the roles of their characters.
Participants determine the actions of their characters based on their characterization, and the actions succeed or fail according to a formal system of rules and guidelines. Often however, understanding and using these guidebooks are quite time consuming and stressful. Players of this genre are wasting quite the amount of precious playtime browsing these rulesets. Furthermore, since not all of these games are that popular, they don’t really have any available support which will only make what has long been an unbearable situation even worse.
According to the previously mentioned reasons we can see how much an application supporting these games is needed summarizing all the rules and mechanics and offering them to the players. The goal of this thesis is to create an application for a given game. The point of the implementation is to make it reusable and expendable for other games in the genre.
